Kodak Portra 400

Kodak today announced a new film, Kodak Portra 400, which is the finest grain structure available in a 400-speed color negative film. The cool part is that this film uses the Kodak film film vision technology to this amazing fine grain.

If you have a look at the web-page of Portra 400 you can see some sample photos from Wayne Lawrence, test Jonathan Canlas and Ryan Muirhead who shoot this new movie.

"The new PORTRA 400 film of skin tones are spot on without saturation and contrast," said Jonathan Canlas, a well-known professional wedding, portrait and commercial photographer based in Utah, United States. "And for someone who film in house scanning, it couldn't be easier to scan in terms of density and color. this new film delivers consistent and reliable results under a horde of lighting conditions.
